Baghaei appointed spokesperson for negotiating team
The head of Iran's negotiating team has appointed Esmaeil Baghaei as the official spokesperson for the delegation.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the head of the negotiating team, has appointed Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei as the spokesperson for the "Minab 168" negotiating delegation.
The appointment decree issued to Baghaei reads as follows:
"Hereby, I appoint you—as an executive committed to revolutionary values, an expert in international law, possessor of valuable experience in the diplomatic sphere, and the current spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—as the spokesperson for the 'Minab 168' negotiating team.
I trust that with the precision and accountability known of you, you will succeed in this bastion of struggle in clarifying and expounding the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the world, and in addressing the questions of the noble and brave nation of Iran."
