Ghalibaf: US will trap itself in an endless war once again
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament emphasized that the United States will once again get trapped in an endless war in which victory is impossible.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf published a post on his personal X social media platform, quoting a passage from Chapter 11 of the memoir book by U.S. Vice President JD Vance, which reads: "We felt trapped in two endless wars with no option of winning, and a disproportionate share of the soldiers came from our own neighborhood [the neighborhood of the poor]."
Pointing to this quote, Ghalibaf wrote:
"This situation—the U.S. getting trapped in a war they cannot win—is repeating itself once again.
This time, the poor and forgotten Americans must pay the price for the warmongering of oligarchs close to the White House, devilish individuals like Jamie Dimon, and the lobby of war merchants in Washington."
It is worth noting that Jamie Dimon, the CEO of the American financial institution and bank JPMorgan Chase, is one of the most prominent figures among the financiers of the war against Iran and has recently engaged in rhetoric against the country.
