IRGC Aerospace Chief Slams U.S. ‘Stone Age’ Threat, Citing ‘Hollywood Illusions’
The Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force has issued a sharp response to recent threats by the U.S. Secretary of Defense, dismissing American rhetoric as "Hollywood illusions" and warning that any escalation would result in American casualties.
Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi reacted on his social media account on X (formerly Twitter) to the U.S. Defense Secretary’s remarks regarding "returning Iran to the Stone Age."
Addressing the American official directly, General Mousavi stated: "It is you who will be taking your soldiers to their graves, not Iran that you could ever return to the Stone Age."
The IRGC commander further criticized the historical perspective of the U.S. leadership, highlighting the contrast between the two nations' histories. "Hollywood illusions have so clouded your mind that, with a meager 250-year history, you dare to threaten a civilization that is more than 6,000 years old," Mousavi wrote.
