Armed Forces will give a ‘severe response’ to any miscalculation
The Islamic Republic has always been a harbinger of regional and international peace and security but is ready to defend its territory with strength, the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces say.
The Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces have issued a stern warning to adversaries that any miscalculation or act of aggression against the Islamic Republic will be met with a powerful and severe response.
“The Islamic Republic has always been a harbinger of regional and international peace and security,” the Chiefs of Staff stated in a message marking Islamic Republic Day.
The statement further warned all adversaries who may have miscalculated Iran’s military power that “any threat, aggression, warmongering, or violation of the sanctity of Islamic Iran will be met with a severe response, heightened power, and an offensive approach.”
It said that the Islamic Republic, established in 1979 on the principles of faith, justice, and the defense of the oppressed, has consistently faced hostility from arrogant powers, particularly the United States.
Despite these challenges, the Islamic Republic remains resolute in its commitment to peace, justice, and the defense of its principles, territory, and the oppressed, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Palestinian cause, the statement added.
The statement said the Armed Forces have achieved sustainable military deterrence and are ready to respond to any act of folly by the enemies.
