Iran and its allies launch joint naval parade in support of Palestinians

The exercise spans the Persian Gulf, the Makran coastal region, and the Caspian Sea, coinciding with Iran’s preparations for International Quds Day on Friday.

Naval forces from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), along with their counterparts from Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, are conducting a joint naval exercise in a show of force against Israel and in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

The exercise, which began on Thursday, spans the Persian Gulf, the Makran coastal region, and the Caspian Sea, coinciding with Iran’s preparations for International Quds Day on Friday.

The parade features various Iranian vessels, including the Shahid Baqeri UAV carrier, the Shahid Rais Ali Delvari frigate, and speedboats from the IRGC Navy, alongside civilian maritime units.

Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, announced that approximately 3,000 vessels, both heavy and light, are participating in the event.

“We will not limit our fight to land, child-killing Zionists; we are ready at sea, and you will have no escape,” he declared.
